  • Can I open a demo account?

    After logging into the portal, navigate to the menu on the left side of the page and select ‘My Account’ → ‘Open Account’. On the account creation screen, set the ‘Account Type’ to ‘Demo’ and complete the registration.

  • I don’t have a photo ID, can I still register for an account?

    If you do not have any photo ID, you will not be able to register. Providing a photo ID is an industry-wide requirement for opening an account with Swift Trader.

  • What identification will i need to open an account successfully?

    You can open an account with a passport or a photo ID, such as a driver’s license. Just complete the registration form, including your employment status and financial information.

  • When registering account information before withdrawal, does “address” refer to the bank’s location?

    You do not need to fill in the “address” and “correspondent bank” fields.

  • Does Swift Trader offer two-factor authentication or any other security measures when logging in?

    Your security is our top priority, and we are committed to delivering the best possible protection for our clients.   • How can I check if my KYC (Know Your Customer) process is completed?

    Your KYC process is complete if you have received an email from Swift Trader with the subject line ‘SwiftTrader – Account Verification Complete’ in your inbox.

  • I can’t enter my name in my native alphabet when opening a new account.

    Please enter your name in Roman characters (uppercase or lowercase). For other information (such as address), please enter it in your native alphabet.

  • How long does it take for an account to be approved?

    An account will generally be approved within a working day of submission, depending on your time zone and provided there are no issues.

  • Can you explain the steps that follow account approval?
    1. Open a Trading Account
      Log in to client portal as per the welcome email we have sent you. Go to “My Accounts” → “Create Account” in the portal’s menu. Create a Live Trading Account as per the options available and your trading preferences.
    2. Download the MT5 App
      After opening a trading account, you will receive MT5 login information via email along with a pop-up notification. Enter the provided ID and password into the app to access your trading account.
  • I can’t proceed with account registration because the camera won’t start for the selfie?

    If you’re using a PC and can’t proceed with account registration because the camera won’t start for the selfie, try the following:

    Switch to Smartphone
    Scan the QR code with your smartphone and use your phone’s camera to take the selfie.

    Follow Face Recognition Steps
    Due to system requirements, the face recognition page is displayed in English. Please follow these steps:

    Step 1: Privacy Policy

    • Ensure your webcam or mobile camera is connected and working.
    • Click “Start” and follow the on-screen instructions.
    • Review the privacy policy and check the corresponding box to agree, indicating your consent for Sumsub to process personal data.

    Step 2: Identity Document

    • Select the country and type of document you will use.
    • Upload a photo of your ID. You can start verification on the desktop and switch to mobile halfway through by using a QR code or link and pressing “Continue on phone.”
    • Use any government-issued document (ID card, passport, driver’s license, etc.) valid for at least one month from the current date.
      Photo-Taking Tips:
    • Ensure the information on the document is clearly readable.
    • Make sure all corners of the document are visible within the frame.
    • For two-page or double-sided documents, take photos of all pages/sides.
    • Acceptable file types are JPEG and PDF, each at least 500KB in size.

    Step 3: Liveness Check

    • Complete the liveness check by slowly rotating your head in a full circle towards the camera to confirm you are the document owner.
    • Keep your face within the frame during the process.
    • You can switch from desktop to mobile at this step or any other step.

    Step 4: Submit Application

    Please wait while Sumsub checks the data. The status of your application will update automatically.

  • I live in a country where Swift Trader does not provide services. Can I still open a demo account?

    We apologize, but you cannot open an account in a country where Swift Trader does not provide services.

  • Where is your company licensed and registered?

  • What are the advantages of Swift Trader compared to XM and other companies?

  • How long does it take to open an account?

    Opening a Swift Trader account takes only a few minutes. After registration, you’ll receive an authorisation link to your provided email address to verify your account.

  • Why do I need to enter my personal details before opening an account?

    Swift Trader operates as a licensed service provider, rigorously regulated by the Financial Services Authority of the Union of Comoros and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. To comply with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and ensure the security of our customers’ assets, it’s essential for us to gather pertinent information at the outset of our service. This requirement underscores our commitment to due diligence and asset safety, hence the need for customers to provide necessary details when initiating an account.

    All regulated and serious brokers require this information and you should only ever choose a broker who insists on these requirements.

  • What personal information is required to open an account?

    For personal accounts, we require you to complete a registration form that includes details on your employment and financial status, accompanied by a form of ID with a photo (like a driver’s license, My Number card, or passport).

    For corporate accounts, we need the main user’s ID, details on directors/officers/shareholders, information on entities with more than a 25% stake (significant controllers), their employment status, financial status, and a proof of address document.

  • Is there an age limit for opening an account?

    You must be at least 18 years old to open a Swift Trader account.

  • Is there a deadline for completing the opening of an account?

    Please note that there is no deadline for completing the account opening process and you can start trading without completing it, however if you have not completed it, you will be asked to enter the appropriate information or send an image(Photo ID) when withdrawing funds, in accordance with KYC (Know Your Client) rules.

  • Is it possible to update personal information?

    You can change the phone number etc. on the client portal. For changes in your email address, please contact the customer experience. The ID card cannot be changed after approval.

  • When can I start trading?

    You can start trading immediately after opening an account.

  • What should I do if I do not receive a verification email from www.swifttrader.com?

    If you do not receive the verification link, please check your spam folder. If you still have not received it, please contact us via live chat or email [email protected].

  • Does registering an account give me access to the trading platform?

    After registering the account, if you can open a trading account, you will receive an e -mail with the email with the login ID, password and server name.

  • What is the Swift Trader Portal?

    The Swift Trader Portal is a members-only portal available to all customers after account opening. Here you can check your registration information, account information, financial status, etc.

  • What is a Swap Free (Islamic) Account?

    Swift Trader does not currently offer swap-free accounts for customers with Sharia law.

  • What currencies are available?

    To view available currencies, please check ‘Pricing Page’ and ‘Deposits and Withdrawals’.

  • Are there any country restrictions?

    Swift Trader does not offer services to residents of the following countries.
    Afghanistan, Belarus, Central African Republic, Cuba, Ethiopia, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Myanmar, North Korea, Russia, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, Venezuela, Yemen, Zimbabwe, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Australia, United States of America, United States Minor Outlying Islands, Ontario in Canada.

  • Is there a limit to the number of trading accounts I can open?

    Up to 10 trading accounts can be opened.

  • How do I delete a trading account?

    Please contact us from the Portal Ticket to delete (archive) a trading account.

  • Can I open a corporate account?

    Swift Trader is currently unable to offer corporate accounts. We will inform you when corporate accounts become available.
